Broker-j book headers contain bad chars

Hi!

just looking at the broker-J bookpages, and I see that headers and footers contain a 'Â' chars:

"Chapter 1. Introduction"

or

"Prev "

Thiose chars are not present in the page sources, I wonder what is the tool used to generate those pages ( XSL-FO formater, but which one?), but I guess it's the culprit.
