    Description

      Not sure why sc.stop() is not in the
      org.apache.spark.examples.ml

      {CrossValidatorExample, SimpleParamsExample, SimpleTextClassificationPipeline}

      .

      I can prepare a PR if it's not intentional to omit the call to stop.
