XmlConfigurationProvider adding getInputStream() method

Would it be possible to make XmlConfigurationProvider easier to extend? Specifically, it would be nice if there was a method getInputStream()which could be overridden by a subclass to provide an InputStream for getting the xwork configuration data. Right now there is no way for me to easily reuse the existing XML configuration code if I want to provide my own InputStream.
