    Description

      The data stored today in ATSv2 is either system data in that it is generated by YARN, or custom data that is generated by Application Masters themselves.

      Data retention policy is necessary to maintain feature parity between the new MR JHS with the current JHS.

      We may want to provide separate policies for system data and custom data.
