Set java 8 as default version for maven-archetype-quickstart

    Description

      Currently the default Java version for maven-archetype-quickstart is 1.7 which is considered as obsolete today.

      Most of the projects are written using Java 8 and 11

      And I think that Java 7 being default version in the most popular archtype is quite outdated behaviour.
