Simple axis server seg faults if I send a SOAP message with an empty body from client

The soap message I sent is:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
<soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>

For me this is a valid SOAP message, and even if it is invalid the server is not supposed to crash.
But it crashes due to a problem in SOAP module.
