Include Python tests in Maven build

    Description

      Currently our Jenkins PR Builder does not run run Python tests.

      We should either integrate the Python tests in the test cycle of the Maven build or add a separate task to the Jenkins PR builder to run the Python tests and make sure to report test failures with a comment on the PR.
