Throwing exception in application code does NOT abort the transaction (it should, of course).

Is an issue in 1.7.0, don't know if an issue earlier (but suspect it may well be).

Note that this "only" effects the domain code, so it won't affect all applications.

If an exception is thrown by the DBMS, then the transaction is still aborted.
