Authentication (particularly _users database) not adequately covered in official documentation

I couldn't find a some of the content in https://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/Security_Features_Overview in the official documentation. One especially important omission seems to be coverage of the _users database, the user document schema and special features.

Once this is migrated, it would be great to add more links to the official versions atop the original wiki page.
