10.10 upgrade and compatibility testing

    Description

      I am doing some upgrade and test compatibility testing with 10.8 and am using this issue for tracking tests and results.

      The first test was to try to run the 10.8 tests against the 10.10 product jars to identify user compatibility issues and make sure we have adequate release notes.

      Output of this initial run attached as test10_8_tests10_10productjars.out

      The run failed miserably because of cascade failures, lock timeouts and failure to cleanup. These are general test and test framework issues that best be addressed before analyzing failures.
