Date format in the title of an apt file is not described in detail within the online documentation

It would be nice if the documentation at http://maven.apache.org/doxia/format.html would specify the date format in the title explicitly. At the moment it is not possible to find out if the date will be parsed as string like "November 27, 2008" or as date like e.g. "20081127".
