Unable to build because conjars.org is dead.

I have cleaned my ~/.m2/repository and now I'm no longer able to build Drill related software.
Turns out that the maven repo at conjars.org is dead and drill has configured conjars.org as a repository in the pom.xml.

I do not know what the proper solution is.
