Cannot apply custom color in Rich Text Editor

Steps to reproduce:
1. add RickTextEditor to application and run app.
2. Type some content into editor window
3. click on colour picker and try to enter custom hex colour and try to apply

Actual Results:
Hitting return will apply the color but will also delete the highlighted color in the editor.

None really, you can retype the content once it is deleted.
