Coping from one rich text editor into flex rich text editor

Should copying and pasting from another Rich Text Editor retain the formatting of the text being copied into the Flex Rich Text editor, right now the component does not behave that way?

This can be easily reproduced by copying rich text from Word into the richText Editor componant in a flex app. None of the rich text is retained from Word.
