Enhance the backup and restore tests

    Description

      The backup and restore tests are fairly high level right now so that we could be flexible and fast. Before backup and restore functionality is GA we should improve the test coverage. 

      Primarily I think we need a more thorough fuzz test for mixed full + incremental backup and restore. Other ideas can be tracked on this Jira as well.
