Description
When the assembly creates directories not already found in the resources (for example when using <includeBaseDirectory>true</includeBaseDirectory> or <outputDirectory>some/new/folder</outputDirectory>), the directory has the wrong file attributes (177777 octal, ?rwsrwsrwt). This causes the archive to be somewhat broken, since the directory doesn't appear to be a directory according to the file attributes.
This causes problems with the Midnight Commander virtual file system, for example.
