Discrepancy between pom syntax for artifacts and deploy:deploy-file parameters

It is confusing, at least to me, that the pom says, '<type>foo</type>' but the deploy-file parameter is -Dpackaging=. I'll post up a patch to add -Dtype= if I get the slightest encouragement here.
