CI-friendly versions should only come from/rely on user properties

For upcoming versions we are striving for a better separation between Java system properties and Maven user properties. As of now, user properties are promoted to system properties, but both don't necessarily have anything in common. To clean this up, CI-friendly versions should only be sourced from user properties when the model is interpolated.
