scm:cvs dosn't take global .cvsignore from user home dir

As in title, then running prepare or prepare-with-pom on project with cvs as scm ,phase 'scm-check-modifications' fails with 'Cannot prepare the release because you have local modifications' showing that I've uncommitted files *.iml (Idea modules files) although I have *.iml in global .cvsignore file in my user home dir. I don't want to configure *.iml in every project whats why I have it in global .cvsignore.
