Revise Verifier#getDefaultMavenHome()/#getExecutable()

This method contains relics from the past:

• M2_HOME has be removed years ago, so can this go
• In the last 10 years we have never advocated a Maven installation on ${user.home}/.m2/, so this can go as well

All we care about is maven.home.
