Description
Quite often site documentation is published as part of the release. This means that changes to the documentation depend on a new release before being visible OR you must accept that the documentation refers to a snapshot version instead of the latest release version.
With the update-goal it will be possible to immediately publish documentation changes without changes references to released project.
The siteskinner-maven-plugin http://www.mojohaus.org/siteskinner-maven-plugin/ (originally written by me) at MojoHaus contains a lot of code which can form the base for this goal.
