public final void pushComponentToEL(FacesContext context, UIComponent component) crashes if component is null

from the JavaDoc:
> public final void pushComponentToEL(FacesContext context, UIComponent component)
> component - the component to push to the EL. If component is null the UIComponent instance that this call was invoked upon will be pushed to the EL.

This is e.g. used in the ajax4jsf UIDataAdaptor of RichFaces-3.3.3
