vhost not working with qpid-jms-client

When i use qpid-jms-client (v0.57.0) with amqp.vhost=myvhost i can debug and see that the parameter is used as hostname.

But when i connect to my RabbitMQ instance where '/' is not allowed for my user, just 'myvhost' i get an error that the user cannot access the vhost '/'.
