Data explorer won't show data

While using data explorer for the most straightforward pipeline (machine data and data lake), after using streampipes clean command, data explorer won't show data.

I've tried multiple visualizations (including table and time series), but still have a similar error in the console. 

In settings/datalake, events can be seen.
