    Description

      Want to be able to support stand-alone back-end workflow executors. This will be good for testing and will also make it much easier to deploy in cloud environments (e.g., Amazon EC2).

      Executor should shut down nicely after workflow finishes; it does not need to support being given a second workflow. This is the entity which would be checkpointed (TAVSERV-44).
