Major Description
Currently, Inputs and Outputs are configured for a vertex by specifying and Edge between two vertices. For root and leaf level vertices, it isn't possible to specify the Input and Output - this defaults to using MRInput and MROutput if no Inputs or Outputs, respectively, are found for a vertex.
It should be possible to specify Inputs/Outputs for root / non-root vertices - which are not connected to any other Vertex.
