Specify version number for the Thrift Gem in the Ruby library

Each time the Thrift Gem changes the version number should change according to the RubyGems Versioning Policy (see http://rubygems.org/read/chapter/16). Without changing the Gem version it is quite difficult to update the gems automatically from a Gem server.
